released a draft document that many of us have been waiting for. they are calling it a pledge to america. it outlines, values, policies and the ideals a republican-led congress will pursue in 2011. tonight we have a sneak peek of some of the key elements. on the economy republicans are vowing to end all job-killing tax hikes. they want to provide small businesses with tax cuts. they vow to stand in the way of excessive federal regulation. they call it washington's red tape factory. they will repeal the 1099 health care requirement on fiscal responsibility and the size of government. gop pledges to cut government spending to prestimulus, prebailout levels. cut congress' budget and end tarp forever. they take fannie mae and freddie mac out of the hands of government and hold weekly votes on spending cuts. they will repeal and replace the government take over of health care an action they vow to undertake immediately. fear not democrats, the gop have a plan of their own they will allow health care to be purchased across state lines, expand health savings accounts ensure access for preexisti

'm bill o'reilly. thanks for watching us tonight. once again, fox news underattack. that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. you may remember about this time last year the white house declared war on fox news. saying that we were irresponsible in our reporting and biased against the administration. i write about that extensively in my new book pinheads and patriots because it actually helped us. our ration went up and the credibility of the administration went down. after a few weeks of that nonsense a truce was declared and business went on as usual. war is being resurrected not by president obama but some of his acolytes. with the election looming the democrats are in a tough spot. the economy ♪ getting much better and the voters are angry. all the polls say the democrats are in deep trouble. so a smoke screen is needed to mask reality, something to drive attention away from the economy and other problems. a few weeks ago the president went after congressman john boehner, the republican. well, that didn't go anywhere. so now some lefties are bringing fox news back

here, when warned by advisors of another terror threat on u.s. soil, our president said that our country could absorb the attack. this is what he said in an interview with the author, quote, we could absorb a terrorist attack. we will do everything we can to prevent it, even on 9/11, the biggest attack ever, we absorbed it, and we are stronger. hmm. i don't want to make a huge deal out of this. instead i will pretend to make a huge deal out of this. frankly i have concerns about a president who sees our country as a sheet of bounty that can sopa up mass casualties like a sloppy joe. the attack could result in thousands of dead folks which is why it is creepy using the word saab -- absorb twice. i think obama meant it as a compliment, that we are a strong country that can ham anything. but absorb? you can't say that crap. it is cold and clinical and makes mr. spok sound like smilely. and when bernard schaub asked if his wife was murdered or raped, would he favor the death penalty for the killer? due caucus -- dukakis says no. which is why no one also remembers anything from the de
